Trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Kate is a versatile, award-winning performer. Witty, bold & nuanced on stage & screen, she is particularly interested in Shakespeare and providing accurate, nuanced & stereotype-defying neurodivergent & queer representation. Kate is also an experienced voiceover artist and member of the RNIB audiobook narration panel. Their voice sounds feminine, informed and calming, with a playing age of late teens-early 30s and wide range of accents. Kate is represented by Lexi at Claraty Voices for radio, commercial, animated and podcast voiceover & performance capture.
Musician
Kate is an accomplished musician, specialising in traditional & contemporary folk. Since 2023 she has composed original music for Shake-Scene productions, combining Shakespeare's lyrics with her strong ear for melody & contemporary influences including Sinéad O'Connor and Marcus Mumford to reclaim Shakespeare's survivor characters. She plays banjo, piano & basic guitar.
