Kate Andrews is an award-winning creative  using classical texts as a Trojan Horse for contemporary questions of power, identity & social change in bold, accessible productions. Kate was the first explicitly Autistic performer to portray Hamlet. Her work innovates while leaving nobody behind.

With 10,000 hours and 10 years of practice, Kate has worked on 37 of Shakespeare’s 38 plays across acting and directing, with collaborators including the RSC, Shakespeare North Playhouse and National Theatre Studio. As Artistic Director of Worlds Elsewhere, she creates Shakespeare for the many: politically alive and accessible. Kate also works as an actor in projects aligned with her practice.
