
Kate Andrews is a multidisciplinary Shakespeare practitioner specialising in directing, performance and education. With 10,000 hours and 11 years of practice, Kate has worked on all of Shakespeare’s 38 plays across acting and directing, with collaborators including the RSC, Shakespeare North Playhouse and National Theatre Studio. Her work is driven by a commitment to making Shakespeare accessible across performance, education and production.

Kate was the first explicitly Autistic performer to portray Hamlet, and is so far the only performer to play both Beatrice and Benedick within the same month across 2 separate productions. She works across every facet of Shakespeare, from touring productions in a van to leading workshops in schools and prisons, creating original work & helping bring productions to audiences.
